New USAID Website Facilitates the Design of Blended Financing for Sustainable Water Sanitation and Hygeine Services

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the launch of its new Water Finance Website at World Water Week in Stockholm on August 19. The website is designed to improve the financing of water sanitation and hygiene (WSH) services in developing countries.

Pakistan's Department of Agriculture and Livestock has recently launched an online portal to help farmers get the best information about market prices.  Often, farmers' harvests are priced by middle men who pay lower than market prices in order to increase profits.
